THANK YOU - A huge thank you goes out to those who have put in so many volunteer hours on the new office project. It is greatly appreciated. Things are moving along quickly and it is starting to look like new office space. More updates will be put in about when the Parish Office will open up in the new space.
THANK YOU - A special "Thank You" to the Sisters of Mary Morning Star for the great job they did waxing and polishing the floor in the worship area of St. Eloi Church. We were told a few years back that the floor was too old and worn out to ever look good again. But after a thorough cleaning, and four coats of wax it shines beautifully. Thank you so much for your efforts...!!

A YEAR WITH POPE FRANCIS DAILY REFLECTIONS –
*** TO DRAW NEAR***
From the Gospel narratives we are able to understand the closeness, the goodness, the tenderness with which Jesus drew in the suffering people and consoled the, comforted them, and often healed them. By our Teacher’s example, we too are called to draw near, to share the conditions of the people we meet. –Address, June 14, 2014
Reflection: How can you draw near to share in the condition of those you meet? How can you listen more attentively? How can you comfort them? How can you follow up with them?
In the coming days, the House and Senate will vote on a bill that would require abortion providers to offer mothers the chance to view an ultrasound of their unborn child. The bill HF 3194/SF 2849 does not require the mother to view the ultrasound, but gives her that opportunity.
While the bill has bipartisan authorship in both the Minnesota House and Senate, it needs legislators to vote yes in order to head to Governor Dayton's desk. Contact your legislators today and ask them to vote yes for HF 3194/SF 2849 https://www.mncatholic.org/actioncenter/?vvsrc=%2fCampaigns%2f58560%2fRespond
