Kids Say the Darnest things!!
Kid: "Does God talk to you?"
Fr. Craig: "Great question! In the Bible, sometimes God talked to people and they heard him out loud. However, this is not the normal way God 'talks'. Usually God talks to us in other ways, but God talks to everyone! Yes, even you! When we read the Bible at Church, we say 'The Word of the Lord', because God is talking to us! When you read at home, that is also true. Also, whenever we pray, God is talking to us in our prayer. Sometimes we can almost sense exactly what he is saying and other times we 'hear' Him more by a feeling of His closeness or peace in us. But even though we do not hear words, we can often say it feels like God is saying He loves us, or He is taking care of us or other things. This is all God talking to us. That is how God talks to me, too."
Child:What were you doing when 9/11 happened?
Fr. Craig: I was playing basketball at the seminary. I remember stopping and running to the TV room to watch it as it happened. We saw the towers fall. It was horrible and scary. We prayed for everyone
